I went with my husband and two young kids to check out what's new in design at the Dwell on Design show last year. I wrote this post but forgot to put it online until now. Fortunately, these products still have an air of freshness about them.
Dwell magazine and the show focus on residential interiors, a milleu in which new ideas, materials, and technologies can move rapidly into the marketplace. Thus, the show can be a harbinger of styles and technologies.
Here's a list of my 5 favorite things from the show:
Fencing Low Table by BRC Designs

Pebbles by EIS Studio

Playgoda by Gregg Fleishman

Woolly Pockets modular garden systems

Real Door Inc. Custom doors & windows

I hope to attend the show again this year, in Los Angeles, CA from June 24-26, 2011. Hopefully, I will post my favorites in a more timely manner. See you at the show!
